Clean a dough scraper – remove dough residue quickly

A dough scraper is one of the most practical tools for baking. After portioning, shaping or scraping out the bowl, however, sticky or already dried-on dough residue often remains on it.

Clean the dough scraper immediately after use

Fresh residue is easiest to remove. First scrape off excess dough, then rinse the scraper with cold to lukewarm water. Remaining residue can be loosened mechanically.

Dried-on dough residue on the scraper

If residue has already hardened, first soak or moisten it. It can then usually be loosened more easily without unnecessary heavy scrubbing.

Clean the bowl and work surface at the same time

When baking, dough residue often remains on the scraper, bowl, dough hook and work surface at the same time. The Teiger® cleaning cloth with open mesh structure was developed for these typical residues.

Teiger® is reusable, dishwasher-safe, washable up to 60 °C and Made in Germany.
