Clean the grill grate – remove burnt-on barbecue residue

Grease, marinade and burnt-on food residue can adhere firmly to the grill grate after barbecuing. Cleaning the grate therefore often requires more than a normal dishcloth. The open mesh structure of Teiger® helps loosen stubborn barbecue dirt easily and without scratches.

Cleaning the grill grate: the right time

Allow the grill and grate to cool completely before cleaning. First remove loose residue. Firmly adhering dirt can then be moistened according to the grill manufacturer's care instructions.

Remove burnt-on food residue from the grill grate

Wipe the dirty areas with moistened Teiger®. Its flexible mesh structure can be wrapped around individual bars, helping clean areas that are difficult to reach with a normal cloth.

Loosen grease and marinade residue

During barbecuing, grease, marinade and food residue often combine under high heat to form firm deposits. The mechanical action of the open mesh structure helps loosen these residues.

For grill grates and barbecue accessories

Teiger® can be used not only on the grate but also on suitable barbecue accessories and other washable utensils. For coated or sensitive parts, always follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions.

Without a disposable grill sponge

Teiger® is reusable. After cleaning the grill, it can be rinsed thoroughly and, when more heavily soiled, cleaned in the dishwasher. The same cleaning cloth can therefore be used again and again.

Also for other stubborn residue

Teiger® was originally developed for dough residue but can be used in many other ways. See Remove stubborn dirt for an overview. Also read how to remove burnt-on residue or loosen grease residue in the kitchen.
