Clean baking tins – loosen dough, grease & baked-on residue

Cake, bread and other baking tins can be soiled after baking with dough, grease or stuck-on food residue. Depending on the material and coating, a gentle approach is important. This allows a baking tin to be cleaned thoroughly without unnecessarily hard scrubbing.

Allow the baking tin to cool completely

Let the tin cool before cleaning and follow the manufacturer's care instructions. Silicone, metal, enamel and coated tins may have different requirements.

Soak dough and baking residue first

Loosen stuck-on or dried residue with water. After a short soaking time, many residues can be removed mechanically more easily.

Clean edges, corners and contours

Residue collects particularly in curves and edges of loaf tins, Bundt tins or structured baking tins. A flexible cleaning aid can adapt to these shapes better than a rigid sponge.

Teiger® on baking tins

Teiger® has a flexible, open mesh structure and supports mechanical cleaning of suitable baking utensils. For coated or sensitive tins, follow the manufacturer's instructions and test carefully first.
